This camp is full!

The focus of this camp is to inspire students to continue exploring different mediums and fundamental art skills and techniques. We will be drawing, painting, animating, designing, and discussing ART. Through a rich variety in mediums and approaches, all demonstrated live in the classroom and with individual guidance and assistance from Prof. Beverleigh and Prof. Clapp. Students will take home projects at the end of each week with artwork created in class as well as fun photos of their experience in the art room. This camp will be offered from June 2nd - 6th and 9th-13th and each camp requires a separate registration. Both weeks will focus on an assortment of drawing techniques, special presentations, individual demonstrations, animation, painting techniques with various mediums and games. Students will explore on their own as well and execute a 3D project of their choice using all resources from the art room.

Elevate your game with our intensive Offensive Skills Camp, designed for players from 4th to 7th grade. Led by top-tier coaching, this camp focuses on mastering essential and advanced offensive techniques that define today’s best players. Athletes will develop a deadly shooting touch through form refinement and game-speed reps, enhance ball handling with dynamic dribbling moves for both pressure situations and creating separation, and perfect the art of off-ball movement to maximize scoring opportunities.

We'll dive into modern offensive principles like reading defenses, using and setting effective screens in both pick-and-roll and off-ball actions, and creating space through quick decision-making and footwork. Players will also learn how to attack closeouts, finish at the rim, and improve court vision to make better reads and deliver precise passes. This camp is designed for athletes serious about developing the tools and basketball IQ to thrive in high-level competition.

Come join Panther Dancer director Carrie McRobbie and her talented daughter Mira Spendlove for a dance camp that has ALL the things!  Students will be learning technique and fun, stylized combinations in hip hop, jazz and lyrical dance. Both instructors have several years of teaching experience and have toured the country teaching and performing.

Students will also have the opportunity to work together to create their own dance combinations , that will be shared in a showcase on our last day!

Doc Scheppler, girls' basketball coach at Pinewood High School in Los Altos, CA, has won over 700 plus games, and he possesses an uncanny ability to make the game fun and create an incredible atmosphere of togetherness and joy for the game. Doc is a 6x Division V California State Champion and 2014 State Coach of the Year. He has 40-plus years of high school coaching experience and is the shooting coach for players at all levels, including players at the collegiate level, as well as overseas, WNBA, and NBA players, including Jeremy Lin. 

What better way to spend your summer than in the gym, learning to become a better shooter? Shooting is arguably the most important skill and is currently the most popular skill in basketball today. The Pinewood Summer Shooting Clinic will guarantee that players become better shooters after one week of 10-hour instruction and repetition.
