Pinewood Through Our Eyes

The Perennial gives all interested students firsthand experience in the production and circulation of a monthly newspaper.

Emphasis is placed on news, editorial, feature and sports writing. Reporters are responsible for researching, interviewing and writing the final copy of stories assigned to them. Students also have opportunities to learn layout, design, editing skills, circulation management, photography and computer graphics.

Our editors talk about the process, inspiration, and results of the Op-Ed column in the March 2019 issue of The Perennial. Co-Editor-In-Chief Deana Kajmakovic focuses in on her article from the column, My Privilege Tis of Thee, and talks about what that article meant to her.
