Students from kindergarten through 12th grade study drama, take part in plays and musicals, and learn a variety of increasingly complex visual arts techniques. The results speak volumes. Pinewood offers students numerous opportunities to explore their own diverse facets, known and unknown. Going to the Dogs

All week, our 4th graders have been dedicating themselves to raising awareness and gathering donations for the Palo Alto Humane Society. Each morning, we’ve had advocacy animals on campus for our students to meet and cuddle and an opportunity to donate food and supplies for the shelter.

Our Middle Campus service learning projects are owned by individual grades and supported by our wonderful parent volunteers. Throughout the year, each grade will partner with a local organization, become educated about the work they do, and serve as ambassadors to the campus on their behalf. We love seeing our students grow as empathetic, caring, proactive citizens of their world.
