Recently, our 2nd graders jetted over to the Hiller Aviation Museum for a day of exploration. After learning about an airplane's various parts and some aviation vocabulary, our students built and flew their own wooden gliders. Throughout the day, students also got to play with parachutes, drones, an Oculus, and a flight simulator. Several students have already returned to the museum a second time because they loved it so much.
