Sawe ’01 Gives Junior High Commencement Address
Nik Sawe '01, Pinewood alum; Research Associate at the Precourt Energy Efficiency Center; and Lecturer at the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources at Stanford University, spoke at Pinewood's Junior High graduation ceremony in May. His address concentrated on the road forward, lending advice about the critical next four years of the students' lives. Nik discovered a love for nature in junior high and has taken every opportunity to explore since that time. He's pursued his interests in neuroscience and the environment, fusing them together in fascinating and unconventional ways (for example: by developing a way to turn any scientific data into classical music). We thank Nik for sharing his time and brilliant insights with our students.
