Grace Taylor '16 embarked upon a self-styled gap that began with a one-month immersion into the InnerYoga Teacher Training intensive in Bali last semester. Certification in hand, she flew to Laos where she taught English to novice monks in the temples of Luang Probang, loving so much of the Buddhist culture and her students there. She headed next to Florence, Italy, where she studied art history, drawing, cooking, and Italian; and thrived with virtually everything about her studies and life there. Grace said,

"I am nothing if not humbled and empowered by every experience, place, and person I've met on this journey. I feel so grateful for this incredible world and all it has to offer."
