Annual Fund First
The 100-Day Campaign for the Annual Fund First (AFF) is the cornerstone of the philanthropic efforts at Pinewood and provides critical funds that directly support our programs, faculty, and extracurriculars that are all the hallmark of a Pinewood education. The AFF campaign is the most critical source of immediately available flexible funds and is crucial to the financial health of our school. This year, our goal is to raise $1.5 million with a robust parent participation in the AFF.
In 2020-21, Pinewood’s Annual Fund provided approximately 5% of the School’s operating budget. Tuition does not cover all costs of educating our students, so every family is asked to participate in the AFF at a level appropriate to their financial circumstances. The funds raised from the 100-Day Campaign enable Pinewood to create an engaging and joyful experience for our students so we can honor our commitment to:
- Provide a transformative education to each Pinewood student through challenging academic, arts, and athletics offerings
- Create programs and spaces that align with our mission-driven student learning outcome
- Recruit and retain world-class faculty
Participation in annual giving is frequently used as a benchmark of a community’s strength, making support at any level especially powerful. This year’s campaign launches on September 23rd and ends on December 31st. We hope you’ll join the hundreds of Pinewood families who support the community in this critical effort.
Every year, we acknowledge the generosity of our donors in our Book of Gratitude, which also highlights the many ways in which their support has enriched our program and the experiences of our students.
