Financial Aid
We believe every student should have the chance to thrive at Pinewood—without cost being a barrier to joining our community. That’s why we offer financial assistance that can help cover more than just tuition. Depending on your award, support may also be available for things like books, meals, class trips, and other essential parts of the Pinewood experience.
To the extent that our funds and demand permit each year, we encourage all families who may need help to apply. With an annual budget of over $2.7 million, the Committee allocates awards ranging from $11,500 to $58,800, depending on each applicant's financial situation. If you plan to request financial assistance, please know that the application happens alongside both the application and reenrollment process—so both steps should be completed during the same season.

Academic Materials & Technology
We provide support for essential learning tools like iPad styluses, repairs, and replacements. Additional educational technology needs may be covered based on learning goals and teacher recommendations.
Extracurricular Activities
From after-school supervision to team uniforms and gear, we help students fully participate in Pinewood’s vibrant extracurricular programs—both athletic and artistic.
Lunch
Epicurean’s hot lunch program may be covered depending on need as part of your financial aid award, making it easier for students to enjoy daily meals at school.
Senior Year Celebrations
For graduating students, financial aid may include support for key milestones—such as senior photos, banquet tickets, Grad Night, and yearbook dedications.
Social Events
We want all students to enjoy Pinewood traditions. Financial aid may help cover the cost of dances, student-led events, and other social activities.
Transportation
If getting to and from school is a challenge, we may be able to help. Reach out to our team to explore options for transportation assistance
Travel & Class Trips
Day field trips are fully covered, and multi-day trips like those in 4th and 6th grades are available at a reduced cost based on your award. Our goal is for every student to participate fully in these shared experiences.
Wellness, Health, and Learning Support
When recommended by our student support team, Pinewood ensures affordability for services like tutoring, therapy, and evaluations.
