Meet Caitlyn

Athlete, leader, and communicator. Whether she’s leading the Girls Basketball Team, organizing events through student council, or capturing school spirit as yearbook editor, Caitlyn brings energy and connection to everything she does. She values the close-knit community and wide range of opportunities that have helped her grow in confidence and voice. “Pinewood has helped me speak up, lead, and make the most of every moment,” she says.

Meet Arjun

Scholar, athlete, and aspiring STEM major. Since joining Pinewood in 10th grade, Arjun has gone all-in on his high school experience. He credits Pinewood’s small class sizes and his supportive teachers for helping him dive deeper into his academic interests and build lasting confidence. “Pinewood gave me the freedom to try new things and feel truly supported,” he says. “It’s a place where you’re encouraged to be your full self.”

Meet Lola

Performer, volunteer, and passionate learner. Whether she’s playing Alice in Alice by Heart or diving into literature and humanities, Lola shines in the spotlight and in the classroom. A dedicated member of the Pinewood Performing Arts (PPA) community, she’s also a classical pianist, volunteer at Elizabeth Gamble Garden, and avid reader who’s found deep friendship and a sense of belonging on campus. “I’ve felt so loved and included here,” she says. “There’s a special kind of magic in the PPA community—and at Pinewood as a whole.”

Meet Braxton

Athlete, leader, and changemaker. A standout student, Braxton leads the Varsity Basketball Team as captain and point guard, sprints for Track & Field, and serves his community through food allergy advocacy work. He’s also a Pinewood Scholar, club founder, and an active voice in student publications. Since joining in 11th grade, Braxton has embraced every opportunity to grow. “Pinewood gave me the chance to explore new interests and step outside my comfort zone,” he says. “It’s everything a high school experience should be.”

Meet Mailey

Athlete, leader, and lifelong Panther. Whether she’s leading the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team as captain, rallying school spirit through ASB, or editing Pinewood’s student newspaper, Mailey brings passion and purpose to everything she does. Off the court and outside the classroom, she’s just as at home hanging out with friends and siblings, or competing in club volleyball. Her Pinewood experience has helped her grow into a confident, well-rounded student and leader. “I’ve never felt anonymous here,” she says. “Pinewood is my second family.”

Meet Sloane

Athlete, student leader, and lifelong learner. Whether she’s leading her class as student council president, playing on the varsity basketball and swim teams, or helping out at Pinewood’s sports camps, Sloane is all about connection and growth. She’s passionate about literature and math, and credits Pinewood’s dedicated teachers and close-knit community for helping her build academic confidence. “At Pinewood, I’ve found lasting friendships and the kind of support that makes you want to show up every day,” she says.

Meet Julianne

Roboticist, leader, and creative thinker. From building community through PWRUP and PEP to exploring biology, physics, and literature, Julianne has made her mark across campus. She’s taken on meaningful leadership roles, contributed behind the scenes in the arts, and embraced every opportunity to grow. “Because of the school’s size, I was able to try everything I wanted and make an impact in so many areas,” she says. “That kind of experience is truly unique to Pinewood.”

Meet Dhruv

Leader, innovator, and explorer. Whether he’s shaping policy in student council, launching new initiatives like the AI Club, or diving into journalism and sustainability, Dhruv brings energy and purpose to everything he does. He values Pinewood’s flexibility—where students are encouraged to try new things, take risks, and shape their own path. “Pinewood has taught me to be comfortable being myself—even if I don’t fit one specific mold,” he says. “It’s a place where you’re supported for who you are.”

Meet Caitlin

Coder, creative, and community-builder. From leading on the volleyball court to mentoring younger students and exploring passions in everything from coding to clothing design, Caitlin takes full advantage of all Pinewood has to offer. She’s built lasting friendships, found mentors in her teachers, and developed the confidence to connect with people in any setting. “Pinewood has given me the tools to speak up, lead, and grow through so many unique experiences,” she says. “It’s a place that helps you find your voice.”

Meet Leo

Performer, leader, and community enthusiast. From choreographing winning Lip Sync routines to leading in student government and Model UN, Leo is deeply involved in every corner of campus life. He’s equally at home on stage with the Pinewood Performing Arts program or in spirited academic discussions. “Pinewood’s close-knit, creative community has truly shaped who I am,” he says.
