Haley Nikodem earned her B.A. in Philosophy and Literature from Bard College, where she poured the bulk of her attention to metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and children’s literature. From there she relocated to South Korea where she taught English to elementary and middle school aged children. Following her return to the United States, Haley began teaching at Northfield Mount Hermon, a private boarding school located in western Massachusetts. At Northfield Mount Hermon, Haley taught American Literature, World Literature, Diversity and Social Justice, and served as a Dorm Head. While teaching, Haley earned her Masters of Science in Education degree from the University of Pennsylvania, focusing her attention on culturally responsive teaching and student collaboration. Haley is an avid snowboarder, believes that all food ought to be spicy, and enjoys painting on the weekends.
