Ms. Golder has always been passionate about languages. Before graduating from high school she completed five years of French, four years of Spanish, and every English elective available. Pinewood has been a perfect fit for her. Originally a French major, Ms. Golder has led ten trips abroad to England and France with Pinewood's fifth and sixth grade students. She tries to incorporate Spanish in her classes. Her greatest joy is working with the third graders in language arts. “They are like little sponges; absorbing everything they are taught and tidying up their schoolwork with the new skills they are learning. It is a gift to watch them grow and blossom through the year.” Ms. Golder holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her daughter Morgan and her two Maine Coon kittens Maybelle and Mozart. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and bowling. Her high game is 268, but her goal is to bowl her first 300 game!
