Michelle Gannon believes in the magic of words. Words can inspire. Words have energy. Words have the ability to heal. Michelle loves inspiring her students to discover this power.

She graduated from Princeton University and began work in strategy consulting in New York. After a few years in the corporate world, Michelle yearned to connect with young people. She returned to school at Columbia University to get her MA in Education. After graduating, she taught humanities, American literature, film as literature and SAT prep at a high school in Northern New Jersey.

Michelle’s husband was offered a job opportunity in Japan and the Gannons jumped on the chance for an adventure. While living in Japan, she taught English Literature at Temple University to freshmen and sophomores attending the overseas program.

After three years, they moved back to the United States where Michelle started a company called The Language Playground, a platform that inspires and supports parents teaching their children a second language, even if they don't speak it themselves. She also enjoys connecting and building the Princeton alumni community as the Director of the Princeton Alumni Angels, a group of passionate alumni who are committed to finding investment opportunities and supporting exciting startups.

Michelle and her husband love taking their children on magical adventures all over California. They continue to fall in love with this enchanting place every day.
