Mrs. Bates holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Immediately after earning her teaching credential, Mrs. Bates joined the Pinewood family in 1992. The next eight years flew by as she enjoyed the school's camaraderie and close-knit community. It was here that she met her husband, Bill, and made Pinewood history by getting engaged over the morning announcements. When children came into the picture, she took a seven year break from teaching to stay home with her sons. Once the boys were in school, she taught at Hacienda Environmental Science Magnet, where the boys attended. Jennifer and her husband are thrilled to be working at Pinewood once again and sharing the Pinewood experience with their sons who now attend Upper Campus. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing golf.
