Mr. Green was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Teaching Mathematics. He also holds a teaching credential for grades 6-12 mathematics. Mr. Green spent twenty years teaching math at various schools in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. He also coached boys' and girls' basketball for fifteen of those years, serving as varsity assistant and head coach in several programs. Mr. Green also spent one year as a college varsity assistant coach and coached baseball for a few years. In 2004, he moved to California and began teaching at Pinewood, where he taught AP Calculus, AB, and many other math courses. During his time at Pinewood, Mr. Green also served as a class advisor, coached girls' basketball, chaperoned the 8th-grade Washington, D.C., trip, and helped build a home for a family in Tijuana over spring break. His hobbies include music, reading, travel, and especially watching the Chicago Blackhawks!
