Our Pinewood Community
Where Relationships Matter
Community is at the core of our school. Students, families, and educators come together in an environment that values relationships and shared experiences. Our community extends beyond the classroom, creating a network of support where everyone—students, parents, and staff—grows together. Through our traditions, diverse celebrations, and active parent involvement, Pinewood is a place where everyone has a role and contributes to our school’s spirit.
Annual Traditions
Our annual Jamboree is a fall carnival that brings together our entire K-12 community for a day of fun and connection. The event features fun inflatables, a variety of games, student performances, and student life fundraisers. Jamboree is an opportunity for students, families, and staff to come together, celebrate our shared history, and contribute to the vibrant spirit that defines us.
Cultural Celebrations
We recognize and celebrate the diverse backgrounds within our all-school community. Events like Holi, Diwali, Lunar New Year, and Heritage Day bring together students and families from kindergarten through 12th grade to share their traditions and learn from each other. These all-school celebrations help build understanding and strengthen our community bonds.
Parent Engagement
Parent involvement is a key part of the Pinewood experience. Whether through volunteering at events or serving as grade-level representatives, parents play an active role in school life. Connections between the school and families create a supportive environment that benefits every student. Parent engagement helps our community grow stronger and our students succeed.
