Our 8th-grade class goes to in Washington, D.C.
Class trips are a fun change of pace for students. These excursions provide a shared experience for students and a chance to get to know one another outside of the traditional classroom environment. Many of our trips also present unique opportunities for teachers to illustrate their lessons in a different way and extend the classroom resources available to students. Pinewood offers a variety of cultural, civic, scientific, social, and overnight field trips to all students.
French language students attend French film screening in San Francisco.
First-grade students learn about our local underwater wildlife and how important each creature is to its ecosystem.
Our AP Physics students applied their lessons on Newton's laws of motion by traveling to iFLY in Union City.
Twelve of our Visual Arts students spent last weekend hiking, creating, and bonding in Portola Redwoods State Park.
