International Students (Grades 7-10)
Pinewood School accepts a limited number of international students who are interested in joining our community between seventh and tenth grades with the expectation that they will stay a minimum of two years. Pinewood does not provide residence facilities or host families; all international students must reside with at least one parent (biological or adoptive) or legal guardian. English proficiency is of the utmost importance for an international student's success as our curriculum relies heavily on reading and writing. Pinewood does not provide any English language learning support.
In an effort to help families navigate the application process, Pinewood School has partnered with The Cambridge Institute of International Education. "The Cambridge Institute of International Education is a Boston-based educational consulting firm that increases international participation in American private high schools and strengthens the ability of those institutions to educate international students.” For Pinewood, Cambridge is the exclusive provider of marketing, brand management, and recruiting services in the People’s Republic of China and the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Republic of Korea (South Korea), and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
We are processing the applications which met our January 15th deadline
and are no longer accepting applications at this time.
